AOC DRIVES IN TEAM CLOTHING FROM ES16 IN 2022
So I must say, it really became December, with all the busy-ness that sometimes comes with it. At the editor's photo shop, it has certainly been busy. Are you getting your training in? As often in December, the intentions are the best, but unfortunately time is sometimes very tight. Some training has been done, though.

ORDER YOUR TEAM CLOTHING IN DECEMBER

Another wave of infections is sweeping across the country, accompanied by debates on the internet. I won’t go into details, but I have personally observed that friendships and communities suffer under the epidemic. Covid and restrictions are fuel on the fire of polarization. Are you for or against, do you believe this, or do you believe that.
I have decided to withdraw from the fight; you cannot win against the internet. No matter how good an argument you think you have, there will always be others who believe they have better arguments. It becomes a shouting contest where everyone instead should stop and listen.
AoC instead recommends focusing on the 2022 “season” – get some kilometers in, possibly combined with some hours of alternative training, for me Padel Tennis and weights, and – order your team clothing if your club or training partners are considering going out in clothes with their own design in 2022.
ES16 is an Aarhus-based company that AoC has previously used and was very satisfied with. The owner Thomas Dybdahl provides good guidance throughout the process, and after the decision on the blog was made that the clothing should be delivered from here, Søren Kuipers met with Thomas, where models were chosen and designs reviewed.
If you want to be sure to have your gear ready for the start of the 2022 season, that is sometime in early March when the first races are on the calendar, now is the time to act, otherwise the train leaves, so get started.

TRAINING MOTIVATION IN THE WINTER MONTHS
While you restlessly wait for your newly acquired team clothing to arrive, you need to train. You have to be ready to keep up with the guys (and gals) when the season starts. Or better yet, lead the way and take all the wind because you have trained steadily all winter and therefore show up in top form at the season start.
AltomCykling.dk has created a small challenge to help you get going. You can sign up for 400, 800, or 1600 km in December, January, February, and March. If you sign up for December now, all the kilometers you have done since December 1st will of course count.
When you have completed one of the 3 challenges, we will send you a beautiful medal by mail; it is made of Swedish polished steel, right here in Denmark, and it is very nice.
You can sign up for our Winter Challenge – right here – RAD King of Winter Challenge

You can of course cycle both outdoors and indoors, on Zwift or BKOOL, or any other platform you train on. Sportstiming automatically syncs with either Strava or Garmin Connect; if you’re not quite that modern to be on one of those two platforms, you can enter your results manually. Easy.
At the time of writing, Leif Jensen has cycled 282 km in the 400 km challenge, Jonas Jensen from AoC has reached 558 km in the 800 km challenge, and Kristian Færge has reached 896 km in the 1600 km challenge. The undersigned has reached 300 km in the 800 km challenge and will probably have to take it easy with Padel and get some kilometers on the counter!
With you on board – it’s fun and can be done right here – RAD King of Winter Challenge
